Final Fantasy VIII has followed in FFVII’s footsteps in getting a PC re-release on Steam. Priced at $11.99, the PC re-release has been optimized for modern PCs and has fully integration with the Steam platform. This version also inclludes new features such as a magic booster that allows players to power up their spells, Steam Cloud support, and 45 achievements. Chocobo World has also been included, a feature previously unavailable to those in the West with the original PlayStation release.
