We had previously reported that a new 30-minute audio drama episode has been added to the HD Remaster of Final Fantasy X and X-2. New details have emerged regarding this.
Previously we had reported that the episode would be taking place two years after the events of Final Fantasy X-2, however latest details show that it actually takes place one year after X-2. In place of actual cutscenes, Square Enix is preparing illustrations to accompany the new content. It will also feature all-new characters.
While contrary to what was said at Japan Expo, the players will not be required to view the new content. Also, despite the games being split for Vita, the new content will be available for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
