A new batch of screenshots have been released for the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. This version is currently in alpha testing. We’ve mainly seen this area so far in alpha footage and screenshots, and Square Enix has re-done each zone due to the problems of reused geometry and assets that were so prevalent in the original version. The game will also run on a new engine that will scale better to peoples PCs as well as be optimized for PS3.
