For Japan Expo 2013, Yoshinori Kitase took the stage to talk about Final Fantasy X and X-2’s HD remasters. During this he announced a much-wanted feature for functionality between the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of the game – cross-platform save support! Players will be able to seamlessly transfer their saves between platforms and continue from where they left off in either game.
The PlayStation 3 version will have both games bundled together, however the Vita versions will be sold separately. You can pre-order Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster for PlayStation 3 via Amazon now, however Vita pre-order links unavailable at this time.
