Square Enix has announced today that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX will be released in North America on September 10, 2013 (and on September 13, 2013 in Europe) on the PlayStation 3. Customers who pre-order the game will receive a limited edition art book that gives them access to a behind-the-scenes-look at the kingdom Hearts franchise. The 24-page, hardcover art book will treat fans to an array of visuals such as character renders, promotional art and artwork of the different Disney worlds from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX features two games, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, fully remastered in HD. The game also features the full cinematic story of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days completely remastered for the TV. In addition to this you can expect updated controls and trophies. All players outside Japan will also finally be able to experience the Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts, which adds a new secret boss to the game.
