Square Enix Announces Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII for PS3/Xbox 360

Square Enix has just revealed the final chapter in Lightning’s saga, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is due out in 2013 and incorporates a brand-new story, world, characters and an enhanced gameplay system. The game will feature Lightning has a playable character and allow players to experience an active and expansive environment like never before.

The official website is now also open and states that more details will be available on September 4, 2012.
