We had previously reported that there would be no full bonus to those who imported their Final Fantasy XIII save data into the sequel. This information had originally came from Andriasang, who has since corrected their news and stated that they had a mistranslation on this. The game does feature a recap of the Final Fantasy XIII story, for those who haven’t played the first one, or those who just want a reminder.
There is no information on what your imported save data actually does for the game yet.
