Square Enix has kicked off their special event for the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy with a big announcement. They will be releasing a large box collection of Final Fantasies I-XIII in Japan this December on the true anniversary of the series.
As pictured above, the box set will come in at a whopping price of 35,000 Yen and will only be available via the Square Enix eStore. Of interesting note the collection includes the PlayStation releases of Final Fantasy I-II and IV as opposed to their PSP releases. The discs will also feature new artwork by Yoshitaka Amano. Included within the boxset:
- Special anniversary video disc
- Crystal ArtWorks – an anniversary visual art collection
- A two disc anniversary music selection CD
- Final Fantasy XIV Mogu Mogu Earring item code
- Mini replica of Amano FF 25th Anniversary visual and stand
