Famitsu’s score for Final Fantasy XIII-2 has come in, and it’s not really surprising. The game has beat out Final Fantasy XIII, which scored a 39/40 two years ago, and has come in at a perfect score: 40/40.
While this might come as a surprise to some, the real test is going to be the fans. Final Fantasy XIII-2 comes out in Japan in just 9 days. At that point, we’ll get the true judge for if this game has truly surpassed XIII.
