In a recent article in Jump magazine, a bit of new Theatrhythm information was revealed. You will be able to play as more than just the thirteen expected characters: By collecting crystals, you can unlock more characters. The ones listed (the ones that can be unlocked) are:
- Aerith Gainsborough
- Snow Villiers
- Prishe
- Princess Sarah
- Cid Haze
- Faris Scherwiz
- Vivi Ornitier
Classic summons will also be returning for the game. This includes Odin, Bahamut, and Ifrit!
